Mr. Narayan Prasad Acharya was born in the Baglung district of Nepal, the son of the late Mr. Bhakta Bilash Acharya and Mrs. Manikala. He completed his schooling in Baglung and studied Ayurveda Medicine at Nepal Sanskrit University for four years, ultimately graduating with a degree in Public Health. He has been working in Ayurveda Government hospitals for the last 12 years. Besides his work with Ayurveda, he is a public health expert and is involved in various research programs.
Mr. Narayan Prasad Acharya is a compassionate humanitarian, dedicated to bringing world-class health care to the public through Ayurveda. The concept of “Ojus Ayurveda Hospital and Research Centre” was designed by him and the setting up of the hospital was only possible due to his long-term commitment and efforts, along with those of a highly professional team. Ojus Ayurveda is the only hospital in Nepal to offer a full range of Ayurveda and Panchakarma treatments and emerged from his initiative in setting up a small clinic named “Ojus Ayurveda Treatment Centre” with a pharmacy at Samakhusi, Kathmandu.
The dream of making world-class Ayurveda health care services available in Nepal spurred him on to set up “Ojus Ayurveda Hospital and Research Centre” at a time when private healthcare institutions of Ayurveda were virtually unknown in our country. He started by establishing a multi-specialty Ayurveda hospital, specializing in spinal disorders, joint disorders, all kinds of prolapsed disc problems and diseases associated with today’s lifestyle.
The hospital aims to effect the complete rejuvenation of the human body and mind through special health care programs. With this goal in mind, Mr. Acharya formed a team of specialists in both health care and research fields. The team is qualified, motivated and equipped to provide the full complement of Ayurvedic health services.
